- White discoloration of cornea is known as corneal opacity. This causes loss of vision for the patient. The corneal can be replaced by donor cornea received by eye donation. This restores the vision of the patient.

- This procedure is done to cover the white cornea (corneal opacity) and to improve cosmesis of eye. This procedure was started first time by Dr Shalini Mohan in the state of Uttar Pradesh in 2010. She had done more than 500 cases till now.
